Yes, someone aged 18 or over should be present throughout the installation. We need access to the boiler location, water stopcock, and electrical consumer unit. We'll agree a start time that works for you.
Vaillant recommends that the system is clean before a new boiler is installed. If your existing system contains sludge or debris (common in older properties), we'll carry out a MagnaCleanse or power flush. This protects the new boiler's heat exchanger and is often required to validate the extended guarantee.
